New Year's Resolution
So, one of my new year's resolutions is to start doing school again! I figure posting it will at least help me get back into that frame of mind. Hopefully I'll get going again!

Apple week
Eating apple sauce
Lily and I had fun this past week. She really liked Way Up High in the Apple Tree, and eating apples. We painted an apple tree with water colors for the first time. (first time using water colors) and we had fun tasting different apple foods-applesauce, apple jacks, apple juice, dried apples, and regular apples. We counted how many red apples we had and how many green apples, and we also made applesauce. Lily was very excited every day to learn about apples! This next week we're going to do pumpkins and the letter P.

Week 3 Apples
So we're doing apples and the letter A next week. I found this website that has lots of apple songs. http://www.alphabet-soup.net/dir2/applesong.html. We'll do Way up high in the Apple Tree, make applesauce, do finger painting to make apple trees, and we'll see what else. Does anyone have a good place to create calendars or schedules online? I'm having a really hard time finding a place to put in all of my information/ideas for the week/month.

Week 2 continued
So, i haven't been as great this week. WE're still doing leaves. On Monday we made a leaf picture-we collected leafs and glued them on contruction paper and colored it. yesterday we looked at computer stuff and colored. Tomorrow I think we'll try painting! Next week we're going to do apples, and then Halloween.

Week 2
So I haven't been as good this week-we missed 2 days. However, on Tuesday we made chocolate chip zuccinni bread and made a fall tree out of handprints, so that was fun. She's still saying L for her name, and we've talked about fall leaves. Today I found a book at the library for Mary Had a Little Lamb, which we read. I also went to Michaels this week and bought supplies, like finger paint, regular paint, construction paper, and scissors. I forgot a stapler and staples though, which I need so that we can make our little books.
